Mentalist Couple Mind2Mind Is Ready to Wow the ‘AGT’ Judges

Mind2Mind is a mentalist duo auditioning for America’s Got Talent Season 17 this week. The performers are no strangers to Got Talent shows, as they’ve previously appeared on Britain’s Got Talent and Ukraine’s Got Talent, showing off their amazing mind-reading skills.

Mind2Mind Has Competed on ‘Got Talent’ Before

Mind2Mind is made up of married couple James Harrington and Marina Liani. James is originally from the UK, while Marina is from Ukraine. James specializes in close-up magic, while Marina got her start as a pianist and model. They met in 2015, and they currently perform together in Dubai.

In 2019, James and Marina auditioned for Series 13 of Britain’s Got Talent. The act started with Marina covering her eyes and identifying seemingly random objects taken out of judge Amanda Holden’s handbag, including a phone charger and a bottle of perfume.

The couple then showed how anyone can read minds by connecting Holden with fellow judge Simon Cowell telepathically. With the couple’s help, Cowell was able to identify the exact country Holden was thinking about. The judges sent them through, but they didn’t make it to the Semifinals.

In 2021, Mind2Mind took their amazing act to Ukraine’s Got Talent, where they performed a similar routine. The audition wowed the judges so much, they earned the Golden Buzzer. The couple later made it all the way to the Finals.

The Duo Proves Their Powers in $100,000 Challenge

If you’re skeptical about James and Marina’s telepathic connection and think they use electronic devices to communicate, you can challenge them to prove themselves to you. The duo’s website outlines the $100,000 challenge, which began with The Daily Star.

“If Mind2Mind can’t prove beyond reasonable doubt that they don’t use secret electronics to communicate with each other, the claimant will be entitled to $100,000 payable within 30 days,” reads their website. “If Mind2Mind successfully prove otherwise, the claimant must post a video on social media with the story.”

The couple is competing for a lot more than $100,000 on America’s Got Talent this season. They’re hoping to win the $1 million prize. Find out what the judges think of Mind2Mind’s act when they appear on Tuesday night’s new episode on NBC.
