Aerialist Aidan Bryant is the ‘One to Beat’ After Stunning ‘America’s Got Talent’ Act

All it took was a little bit of high-flying tricks for Simon Cowell to change his tune tonight. Aerialist Aidan Bryant is completely self-taught and got his inspiration from watching a video from a P!nk concert. The 16-year-old knew that he had to step up his game with death-defying stunts if he wants to win America’s Got Talent. His act was one of the bright spots in a night full of harsh critiques.

Simon Cowell Thinks Aidan Bryant is Now the ‘AGT’ Frontrunner

Aidan started off his act suspended upside-down on a hoop. He grabbed onto a harness and did a ton of cool tricks in the air. Flexibility is definitely his strong suit. His last trick was by far the scariest when he spun in the air with the harness only attached to his foot.

His AGT live shows performance received a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Sofia Vergara. Howie Mandel remained seated but it didn’t matter. Aidan was able to break the spell of all of the rocky acts that came before him. Klum talked about how Aidan is an inspiration to so many.

Since he has only been doing this for two years, he deserves major props. Klum, like many of us at home, loved seeing Aidan’s AGT interview package. He shared how his mom helps him suspend in the air at home by pulling his harness with a lawn mower. She is his biggest fan.

Mandel did have one piece of constructive criticism. He felt like Aidan’s resets for each trick were a little too long. Mandel’s opinion might be shared by a few others who were watching AGT at home. Cowell actually thought the complete opposite and told Mandel to “shut up.” He is getting very feisty tonight for the AGT live shows.

“Look he’s’s 16 years old, he had no safety mat,” Cowell said. “He could’ve broken his neck. This so far is the best live performance we’ve had since we’ve come into the Dolby by a mile. This is a star in the making, a Vegas act, what this show is all about. You are the one to beat.”

Do you think Aidan is the frontrunner after watching the live performances on AGT?
