America’s Got Talent judges Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel have been sharing social media updates as they begin filming Season 18 of the talent show. The auditions are always pre-taped in front of an audience.
AGT Judges Share Season 18 Filming Updates
Fans will be happy to know that Sofia Vergara is back in her seat at the judging table after sitting out AGT: All-Stars earlier this year. The actress posted a selfie with the audience over the weekend, writing, “Back to the best job in the world!!!!!”
Her fellow judge Heidi Klum has also been posting from her spot on the panel. The pair even made a cute video together in which they can be seen walking side by side toward an elevator. In a funny moment, the elevator door closes before they can get there.
Both Klum and Vergara are starting the season off with some colorful fashion choices. Klum wears a bright yellow dress with one sleeve, while Vergara sports a vibrant coral number. Meanwhile, fellow judge Howie Mandel is keeping it casual in a denim jacket.
Mandel posted his own video from the judging table showing Klum and Vergara touching up their makeup. He joked, “Don’t look at them without powder. I’m showing you behind the powder.”

Fans Can Sign Up for Tickets Now
With auditions for AGT Season 18 currently being filmed, fans can sign up now to get tickets to the tapings at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. There are currently dates lined up into April at On Camera Audiences.
A release date has yet to be announced for Season 18 of the show, but the regular seasons typically premiere around the end of May. Last season’s full judging panel (including Simon Cowell) is returning for the new competition, as well as host Terry Crews.
In the meantime, Canada’s Got Talent is currently airing auditions for the second season on Citytv. Last week, Howie Mandel hit the season’s first Golden Buzzer.
