‘AGT’ Results: Sara James, Nicolas Ribs Move on to the Season 17 Finals

America’s Got Talent Season 17 returned on Wednesday night for the third results show of the season. Eleven acts performed during Tuesday night’s show, but only two of them moved on to the Finals thanks to America’s votes. Season 14 winner Kodi Lee also returned to perform.

Two AGT Acts Move on to the Finals in Results Show

At the end of the episode, host Terry Crews announced that the two acts who made it to the Finals are Sara James and Nicolas Ribs. Sara is the third Golden Buzzer act to make it to the Finals (joining Avery Dixon and Chapel Hart), and Nicolas is the second magician (joining Yu Hojin).

The Top 5 for this week also included Hayden Cristal, Amanda Mammana, and Celia Muñoz (who came in third place). We unfortunately had to say goodbye to these acts, as well as the Cline Twins, Mia Morris, XOMG POP, Funkanometry, MPLUSPLUS, and JoJo and Bri.

There’s still one wildcard spot available in the Finals. Fans will be able to vote after the judges choose four available acts. So there’s always the chance that one of these eliminated acts will be back for another shot at the million-dollar prize.

Season 14 Winner Kodi Lee Returns to the Stage

AGT has been welcoming back some past contestants during the results shows this season. We’ve seen Dustin Tavella and Jon Dorenbos perform, and during this week’s show we got to see Season 14 winner Kodi Lee return.

Kodi played piano and sang “Don’t Stop Believin'” with Teddy Swims and Neal Schon from Journey. After the performance, Kodi told host Terry Crews that it was “so awesome” to perform with the two artists, who shared that the feeling was mutual.

Before his performance Wednesday night, Kodi also released his first original single, called “Miracle.” We can’t wait to hear more new stuff from him.
