Comedian Preacher Lawson Prepares for ‘AGT’ Live Results Show Performance

Get ready to laugh until you cry during tonight’s America’s Got Talent live results show. Season 12 finalist Preacher Lawson will be performing one of his outstanding comedy routines. He documented his preparation for the big performance on Instagram.

Preacher Lawson to Perform on ‘AGT’ Tonight

After competing on America’s Got Talent: The Champions and the U.K. version, Preacher has embarked on a successful comedy tour of his own. He continues to post hilarious videos on social media for his growing following. When he hops off of the AGT stage tonight, Preacher will be headed to Pennsylvania. He will perform seven shows before taking his tour to Canada.

Preacher woke up extra early to get a haircut before his AGT return. Upon arriving at the Dolby Theatre on Tuesday, Preacher saw AGT comedian Kabir Singh across the lobby. Kabir will be performing during next week’s second semifinals episode. Comedians always root for each other. Preacher also asked his Instagram followers for help to find a stylist in Los Angeles while he is there.

He performed at Laugh Factory on Tuesday night after sitting in the audience at the AGT live show. He got to give an elbow bump to Howie Mandel which was documented on video. The pair recently filmed Howie Mandel’s All-Star Standup Spectacular together on Aug. 21. Mandel is known to continue to support and work with comedians that he met on AGT.

All of the returning acts that have performed during the results shows have been really great so far. It proves that even if you do not win AGT, you can still find tremendous success and exposure from being on the show. Ben Platt will also be performing to promote the film version of Dear Evan Hansen. The movie will hit theaters later this month with a soundtrack featuring Carrie Underwood and Tori Kelly.
