The Grinch is back! Howie Mandel turned into an absolute savage during the Quarterfinals after watching Gangstagrass perform. The bluegrass and hip-hop group performed an original song called “All For One” for their live show performance. Mandel really was not a fan of the song.

Howie Mandel Makes Harsh Comments About Gangstagrass on ‘AGT’

Gangstagrass really brought something new and exciting to AGT during their audition. This live shows performance was interesting. It just didn’t get that same reaction that the group got the first time. All of the group members did look fantastic in their matching ensembles. Mandel just didn’t love the performance as a whole.

“I think the idea is so much better than the actual music,” he said. “I love what they want to do. I found the song a little underwhelming.”

This is the same kind of sassy attitude that we saw Mandel have in the last half of the auditions on this season of AGT. The editors literally made Mandel’s skin green like The Grinch during Tory Vagasy’s audition. Sofia Vergara pointed out that The Grinch is back again.

Heidi Klum completely disagreed with Mandel. She thought the performance was “a lot of fun.” The audience clapped along throughout the entire song. Vergara tried to make light of the situation by saying that Mandel was just “hungry” and acting like a grouch.

Before giving his harsh critique, Simon Cowell did say that he genuinely likes all of the acts just based on their interviews.

“The difference, however, between the group we had earlier, 1aChord, which is what I call a moment, to this which wasn’t a moment in my opinion, is where I can understand where Howie’s kind of coming from,” Cowell admitted. “But like I said you know you’re so likable you are talented I just don’t think for me the song was good enough.”
