Sofia Vergara was recently a guest on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast. The two America’s Got Talent judges chatted about everything from Vergara’s penchant for cursing to why she prefers fellow judge Heidi Klum to wear shorter heels.
Sofia Vergara Talks About Heidi Klum’s High Heels
Vergara admitted that she sometimes feels insecure sitting next to Klum on the judging panel. As she said, “Why am I at 50 competing with this? It’s not fair.” She added that supermodels like Klum are “from another species.”
The Modern Family actress went on to admit that she will ask Klum to take off her high heels, because Vergara looks short in comparison. When Mandel pointed out that they’re seated during the show, Klum said it “doesn’t matter psychologically.”
“What if there is an emergency, and I have to run out, and she has to run out?” Vergara said, adding that she doesn’t have as much of a problem with Klum wearing regular heels. However, she doesn’t want her to wear platforms.
Vergara also admitted that she sits on a pillow so she’ll look taller when sitting next to Klum. In reality, Klum is only two inches taller than Vergara, who joked, “I just like bothering her.”
